Soon, we will be offering more preorder options for specific titles for an ongoing basis, but release dates are changing too often to implement that at the moment. Business is going great and we thank our loyal customers. During these trying times, we have and will continue to develop solutions that help all of us short term and for the long run. We had new comics available as soon as they came back as well as increased our inventory and shopping options.

We have very reasonable preorder payment prices. We will no longer pull and hold comics without payment (except same day approved holds, requested and picked up the same day). The practice of holding items without payment is unheard of in most other retail and even if you don’t pull comics from us, then you should offer to pay up front at wherever you pull from. If you do not have the funds at the time, then don’t pull them. This is a devastating practice to local comic shops specifically (which are mostly owned by individuals) and this is something that the industry needs to move away from as a whole.

However, what everyone else does is irrelevant. As the old saying goes, if all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you too? Well, we aren’t jumping off the bridge. We are leading with this decision in order to continue great service with great prices and variety. I think rational minds would agree that you enjoy our service, prices, and variety…and would like for us to continue to offer all of those.

Don’t be mistaken - we are still a local comic shop, but we’re a local comic shop doing big things.
