The western comic Lobo is the first African American character to have his own title. Issue 1 was published in 1965 and we are fortunate enough to have issue 2 from 1966. It’s a hot vintage comic that is rising in price on many sites such as eBay and MyComicShop. The copy in our store is in nice condition.
The Captain Marvel of Captain Marvel Adventures from Fawcett Publications is actually from the lineage of the modern day Shazam comic. Captain Marvel Adventures 48 was published in 1945 and is possibly our oldest comic for sale.
