Immortal Hulk is still one of my favorite current series. I just read issues 7, 8, and 9. Number 7 is action packed while 8 and 9 turn to sci-fi goriness intertwined with an internal psychological battle. One of the fan letters noted how this series is a throwback to Banner as a wanderer similar to the original TV show.
The latest media commentating trend always tries to use the cop out that Hulk does better in a team movie, such as part of the Avengers rather than having another solo film. Mainstream critics greatly underestimate the power of the Hulk. This solo run of Immortal Hulk is a legend in the making. I could definitely see this translating into a horror sci-fi flick that could bring change for today’s norm in Marvel movies.
We sold out of issue 10, but we will be getting reprints and hopefully back orders. Must read series!
