Shortage Due To Distributor Error To Be Filled:
Orders for Thor 6 Spoiler Variant will be filled/shipped between August 20th and September 16th.

*Distribution Error - this means that we, the store, ordered the item correctly from the distributor, but the distributor did not fill the order correctly. The item went to backorder, but we have ordered the item through multiple vendors in order to fill preorders. Customers who ordered a quantity over 5 will have the amount over 5 cancelled and refunded.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but we ordered a large run through the distributor to only have them short us completely. As a result of distributor error, we are losing money on these items to fill your preorders, but we value your business as a customer and strive to fill as many orders as possible.

Now Hiring

Justin's Comics is now hiring part time employees to begin September 2020. We are located at 500 South 5th Street, St. Charles, MO 63301.

Hourly wage for a cross trained employee is $12.50 per hour and inventory employee is $9.75 per hour. Current positions available are for 10 to 20 hours per week. Position may lead to more hours, but employee must be satisfied with 10 hours per week. Business hours are Noon-8 pm: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. We are closed Thursday and Sunday except for special sale events.

Requirements:
*Experience in retail and with a cash register
*At least some knowledge of comic books
*Must be at work on time and have good work attendance
*Must have reliable transportation
*Must have work and personal references
*Subject to background check and drug test

We are looking for customer-friendly employees. Justin's Comics promotes a friendly and fun work atmosphere. This is a perfect supplemental job for students, people already employed, or someone just looking for part-time work. Job description for a cross trained employee involves working a register, customer service, cleaning, and a variety of other duties, while working at a steady pace. Justin’s Comics is also a UPS Access Point so employees must be capable of dealing with packages and the computer device for inventory.

Positions and Pay Rates at Justin’s Comics
*Cross Trained Employees: $12.50 per hour, raise to $13.25 (July 2021), raise to $13.75 (July 2022), raise to $14.25 (2023)
*Inventory Employees: $9.75 per hour, raise to $10.75 (July 2021), raise to $11.50 (July 2022), raise to $12.50 (July 2023)

Delayed Preorders and In-Store Weekend Sales

Due to recently delayed shipments from distributors and the volume of orders, we are delaying preorders for the release dates listed below.

*Preorders for Tuesday August 18th and Wednesday August 19th Delayed to Friday August 21st for In-Store Pick Up and Shipments will be processed between Thursday August 20th and Sunday August 23rd.

*Preorders for Tuesday August 25th and Wednesday August 26th Delayed to Friday August 28th for In-Store Pick Up and Shipments will be processed between Thursday August 27th and Sunday August 30th.

Please do not call the store to ask if your order is ready as we plan to have them ready at the allotted time and will notify you of any further delay. New releases this week may be on the racks for Wednesday if processed in time, but some releases will be held back to make sure preorder pulls are completed. We apologize for any inconvenience and will have this caught up as soon as possible.

It’s dark and grungy in true vampire fashion but also has emotion and is historically interesting. It’s villain driven through the beginning but gets deeper into the protagonists as the story develops. The art is stylistically awesome plus fitting to the story and genre as well as the interior art is not as lazy as some mainstream comics. Vampires are somewhat overkill in media already (vampire fans would likely disagree), but it blends a couple new concepts along with the prose of the narrative and dialogue flow well.

Due to instability of their distribution routes, we will no longer support or carry Source Point Press comics. We may evaluate this again at a later time, but it is under our best interest and the interest of our customers to not offer their products until we feel that they can successfully deliver them to us. We strongly apologize for this, but we do not want to solicit their items if we do not feel that the publisher or distributor will provide adequate service to us.
