My take on recent movies:
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
This is a well rounded movie with a focus on Miles Morales coming to be as the new Spider-Man in his universe. Despite all the different Spider-Men, the story was elaborated effectively. It’s a fun movie for the family in which adults and children can both enjoy.
Bumblebee
Hailee Steinfeld gives a heartwarming performance as Charlie bonding with Bumblebee, which brings a magical feel to the Transformer movie series for possibly the first time. It is definitely the best of the Transformer films and it does so without an over abundance of inflated actions scenes, instead with just enough action sequences.
Aquaman
Despite being almost 2 1/2 hours long, Aquaman moves along fast. It is a solid movie with great visual entertainment. It’s not as good as Wonder Woman, but it’s not an atrocity as some past DC movies.
