Garth Ennis is becoming one of my favorite writers, because he seemingly has no boundaries. It’s been over 10 years since The Boys: The Name of the Game was released, but it’s still well worth the read if you possess the open-mindedness to do so.
The Boys is a crude natured trade paperback that is not for the faint of heart. It has nudity and at times can be rather grotesque. However, it does give an interesting lens to see through of how the supposed good superheroes actually live, as they may be super but not necessarily moral. Good thing The Boys are there to keep the “heroes” in check.
