Keeping Clean:
As always, we will continue to take sanitary efforts. We routinely clean our doors, counters, and restrooms. You are also welcome to wash your hands anytime you are in store. We are having an extended sale so that customer rushes will be spread out to avoid congestion and we have plenty of inventory to stock throughout the sale. We have multiple options for shopping being offered.
We Are Here To Stay:
We are continuing to receive new comics for Wednesday releases. We are pushing for resolution from Diamond Comic Distributors, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics on a plan going forward. If a plan is not put in place to save comic stores for the short term, then it could be devastating to the comic industry long term; we're pushing for options for stores from publishers and distribution such as extending or staggering release dates, more flexible options on returns, additional discount rates, and so on. Holding shipments with expected payment or delaying payments will only be making comic stores acquire debt and take the economic dive rather than Diamond, Marvel, or DC developing a plan to ease the burden on stores. They are the leaders of the industry so they should lead during times of emergency. By my estimate, 25% to 50% of comic stores could close permanently if swift and proper action is not taken. We have decided to continue receiving new comics as a service to comic fans and make no doubt about it - We love comics, We love the fans, We are here to stay. As a society we will make it through this, we must do the next right thing and Pray for the best.
Thank you,
